Is it true that my local insurance agent can access this program?

Yes. You can continue to use your local or preferred agent in this program. We will quote either direct to you and you can provide information to your agent – or – we can quote direct without your local agent involved as a competitive option.

Is the coverage broad enough for me to be sure I am getting comparable coverage?

Yes. When preparing this program we took our existing hotel / motel insurance program and broadened it by copying some of the coverage’s offered by current companies in the hotel / motel business. This was useful as it allowed us to jump-start this program with very broad coverage.

Are the carriers providing these policies quality companies as should be associated with the Best Western Owners Group?

Yes. All of the companies are rated excellent by “AM BEST”. We have chosen to use a limited number of carriers in this program rather than one primary carrier so as not to have too much risk in any one company. This is useful to the Owners Group in the event one line of insurance has too many losses as only that line is affected and not the whole program. The specific ratings for the three lead carriers are:

If I want a quote from you on my insurance, can I get that at any time?

Yes. We understand how frustrating it is to have to wait until the last minute to get your insurance arranged for the coming year. We have set our system up to be able to quote your insurance anytime you would like us to. If you would like to have your quote in place 60 days in advance so you don’t have to worry about it, that is fine with us. We will guarantee our price won’t change for 90 days after the quote. So you can get your insurance finalized long before the expiration which is a nice advantage compared to struggling with all of the renewal issues the last day. We will also quote your insurance the last day if you prefer it that way.
