The head of The Mahoney Group’s Employee Benefits Practice, Jason has more than 20 years of experience in the benefits industry, working with C-suite executives nationwide to deliver transformative healthcare benefits solutions that help them maximize their insurance budgets and improve outcomes.

Bringing a fresh perspective to the industry, Jason specializes in transitioning companies into self-funded plans, with a focus on reference-based pricing, direct contracting and pharmacy optimization, helping them remove waste and regain control of their healthcare benefits expense.

Jason was elected to The Mahoney Group Board of Directors in the fall of 2022. Before joining The Mahoney Group, he was a successful entrepreneur in the self-funded healthcare world. Over the course of his career, he has driven operations, strategic planning, corporate/business development, and marketing. A strong believer in serving the community, Jason spent four years on the board of Family Promise, which helps homeless families with emergency shelter and achieve sustainable independence.

With degrees in business and physiology from Boston University, Jason enjoys a good Netflix binge but can also be found fly-fishing in some of world’s leading fishing holes.
