The Mahoney Group is an employee-owned company, is one of the nation’s largest independent insurance agencies, and traces its roots to 1915. Each Mahoney Group office is locally run to provide you with personal and professional service from individuals committed to your area, but at the same time, backed by Mahoney’s specialized expertise and strength. We have offices in eight states (Arizona, California, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin).

The Mahoney Group is a selected partner of the world’s largest privately held brokerage group, Assurex Global. Assurex is an exclusive partnership of the most prominent independent insurance and risk management brokers worldwide.  Established in 1954, its history is built upon the belief that the best independent brokers are entrepreneurial, innovative, principled, loyal, and focused on doing what is right for their clients. Together, we generate in excess of $29 billion in annual premium. 

Because we have over 500 partner office locations in over 80 countries on six continents, we can tailor client programs to meet specific regional or local needs nearly anywhere in the world.  Clients deal directly with the Assurex Global partner in their own market.  In turn, the Partner works with other Assurex Global offices around the world to expertly serve the client’s needs.  It is a simple way for clients to manage an often complex insurance portfolio without losing personalized, local service.  We manage the diverse details so the client does not have to.
