Mesa, Ariz.: The Mahoney Group, one of the largest independent insurance and employee benefits brokerages in the U.S., has hired industry veteran Jeff Henke as its Trucking Program Manager.
Henke’s career includes more than 25 years at Great American Insurance Group, serving as divisional senior vice president, among other roles. He earlier worked as an underwriting officer for Great American’s Alternative Markets division, working with insurance agencies throughout the country, and oversaw a number of programs, including those for wineries, liquor stores, VFWs, self-storage owners, and others.
The Mahoney Group’s Intermodal Contractors Association of North America (ICANA) trucking program, based in Commerce, Calif., is one of the largest in the nation, working with other brokerages in serving owner-operators, fleet operations, freight brokers and freight forwarders since 1998.
Henke has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Valparaiso University in Indiana and a master’s in economics from the University of Notre Dame.
