Mahoney Group Foundation Launches Inaugural Mahoney Open Charity Pickleball Tournament

CHANDLER, Ariz. — The Mahoney Group Foundation today announced the launch of the Mahoney Open, a charity pickleball tournament set for Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at Center Court Gilbert. Registration for teams is now open, and sponsorship opportunities are available.

The event will bring together business and community leaders for an afternoon of fun and competition, with proceeds benefiting workforce readiness efforts supported by the Mahoney Group Foundation.

“The Mahoney Open is about more than pickleball — it’s about creating connections, strengthening our community, and making a real impact,” said David Cummard, a director of the Foundation and Chairman of The Mahoney Group. “We’re excited to establish what we believe will become a new tradition: a chance to compete, network, and contribute to a cause that helps Arizona thrive.”

Teams may register in either a Competitive Division, with prizes up to $3,000, or a Novice Division, with prizes up to $1,500. Team entry is $500, and spots are limited.

Sponsorship packages are available at multiple levels, including Winner’s Circle, Food & Drinks, and Court Sponsor, offering visibility and alignment with one of the region’s most engaging new community events. The Title Sponsorship has already been claimed by Imperial PFS, an insurance financing leader.
