Mesa, Ariz., Aug. 3, 2021: The Mahoney Group has acquired Seven Flames Insurance Services Inc., a Chadron, Neb.-based brokerage serving the Great Plains region.
The acquisition represents a furthering of The Mahoney Group’s commitment to serve the insurance and benefits needs of its Indian Country clientele. The Mahoney Group’s Tribal Practice, led by agency partner Marc Matson, serves more than 300 Tribal governments and enterprises, primarily in the Southwest, Northwest and Midwest. It is the largest provider of property, casualty, risk management, health benefits and wellness management services in Indian Country.
Seven Flames founder Martin Pilcher, who established his brokerage in 2018, and broker Chad Fowler together have more than 25 years of experience serving businesses and organizations within the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, home to the Oglala Sioux Tribe.
